Forget Copacabana; forget Waikiki; forget Bondi, Manly and Curl Curl; forget Surfers Paradise - the best beach in the world is here on the Clyde Coast !
Of course this is a very subjective claim. What constitutes the best beach ? Many would prefer the glitz and glamour of the famous beaches listed above. For them, Manly may well be the best.
But if you think that the best beach is an unspoiled and undeveloped natural expanse of golden untouched sand (with hardly a footprint on it), kilometres long, open to the full power of the Pacific, wild exciting surf and water as clear as crystal - then it is here.
No syringes or other unmentionables in the sand, hardly any people at all, great salmon fishing, swimming (with care) without being eaten by a shark, unbelievable grainy, golden sand; on all these criteria, our beach is unsurpassed.
So where is it (I hear you ask) ?
When you do get here ask your hosts or give us a ring and we will tell you where it is (and how it can be easily reached by car).
For more details you could try a Tourist Information Centre (but they don't know its name either).
